Kerala High Court Unveils SheBox Portal for Women Staff to File Sexual Harassment Complaints
The Kerala High Court has introduced a new online complaint management system named SheBox, designed to help women staff members register complaints related to sexual harassment at the workplace.
The platform, developed entirely by women developers from the High Court’s IT Directorate, aims to ensure a safe and confidential reporting mechanism for women employees.
The portal was launched on November 1 by Chief Justice Nitin Jamdar, coinciding with Kerala Piravi Dinam (Kerala Day) and the 70th Establishment Day of the High Court.
At the event, Justice A Muhamed Mustaque, Judge of the Kerala High Court and Chairman of the Computerisation Committee, delivered the felicitation address. Registrar General Gopakumar G welcomed the gathering, while Registrar (Vigilance) Mini S Das proposed the vote of thanks.
The SheBox initiative reflects the judiciary’s growing focus on gender sensitivity and the use of technology for safer workplaces within judicial institutions.
